The soft-spoken alternative to the riverfront giants: a fourth-floor terrace, lit low and candle-warm, with the Chao Phraya sliding past below. Hardly anyone seems to know it exists — which rather suits a place trading scale for calm. Come for the peaceful evening the bigger rooftops are too busy to offer.

Aim for dusk on the terrace rail, when the river traffic lights up. Walk-ins work on quiet nights, but the rail seats are few.
