Our take

An open wooden deck on the Thonburi bank where the design brief was clearly 'beach bar, but Bangkok': breezy, rustic, and pointed straight at the river with the Asiatique Ferris wheel turning across the water. The kitchen is honest Thai bistro — crispy pork belly with fish sauce, shrimp plates with real heat — at prices that suit the neighborhood rather than the view.

Cross by ferry from BTS Saphan Taksin and time your table for sunset over the Ferris wheel. Some dishes run genuinely spicy — ask the staff to calibrate.
