A boho Mexican jungle on the Mövenpick Ekkamai's 29th floor, complete with Mayan sculptures, deep house and Afro beats, and full production nights — pole dancers, fire performers, Latin acts — under a retractable canopy that shrugs off the rainy season. It runs until 3 AM or later, there's a 2-for-1 cocktail happy hour to open the evening, and the tequila-and-mezcal list keeps the theme legit. Come for the show; the kitchen is a supporting act.

Silom / Lumphini · Floor 44
A futuristic, audiophile-grade party 44 floors above Lumphini Park: a house-driven sound system built by the Watermelon Group (the team behind Rabbit Hole and Crimson Room) carries the room from golden-hour calm into full late-night club energy as the night wears on. Entry includes a drink credit, the clarified and rotovap-distilled cocktails are engineered for precision, and the 360° views over the park are just the backdrop to the real draw — the bass.
Arrive right at sunset to catch the shift from chilled lounge to full sound-system energy — that transition is the whole show.
Phrom Phong · Floor 30
The only entry here running a full production every night rather than at weekends: Afro-house and house DJs from seven, fire shows at 7:50, 8:50 and 9:50, live jazz in the indoor Tribal Zone, and then the whole 30th floor flipping into what the venue calls Jungle Club mode from 10 PM to 2 AM. The tribal-Mayan planting and the deity-shaped glassware could have been the entire pitch; instead the kitchen and the sound system both keep up with the spectacle. A minimum spend applies on rail-side tables.

Chidlom / Langsuan · Floor 40
The 40th-floor terrace at the Kimpton Maa-Lai runs the most committed Afro House programme on this list, played through a Void Acoustics rig that carries across the indoor bar and the open-air deck alike — a proper sound-system install rather than two speakers in a corner. Thursday to Saturday it runs to 2 AM, with 270° of Lumphini Park below and the city's top DJs in rotation. Three straight years as BK Magazine's best rooftop bar, and the after-dark half is the reason.
Thursday to Saturday for the 2 AM close — Sunday to Wednesday it stops at 1. Arrive at sunset for the calmer garden hour before the sets start.
Thonglor · Floors 45–49
Four stacked floors at the Bangkok Marriott Sukhumvit, and the whole point is the top one: an open-air 49th-floor crown with an illuminated round bar, a DJ booth, and nothing between you and 360° of city. The lower levels take dinner and the rainy-season backup; the crown takes the night, running to 2 AM over cocktails built on local Thai ingredients. The highest party floor on this list, and the one that has never needed a gimmick to fill.
Go straight past the lower floors to the 49th — the booth and the view are both up there. Come at sunset for the calm hour before the DJ starts.
Chidlom / Langsuan · Floor 31
Bangkok's first — and highest — Korean rooftop, on the neon-lit 31st floor of Sindhorn Midtown, runs a deliberate two-act structure: stylish sunset dining early, then a pulsing K-Pop zone as the Yakwa (a soju cocktail inspired by Korean honey cookies) and Soju Bombs take over. The K-Fried Chicken and seafood tteokbokki are genuine fuel, not garnish. The transformation is the feature — arrive for act one, stay for act two.
Order the signature fried chicken with a round of Soju Bombs and let the barkeepers talk you into the strawberry soju shots.
Nana · Floor 33
A hedge-maze entrance opens onto a Central Park-styled sky garden where the Nikkei kitchen — Bangkok's first, running since 2012 — hands over to late-night DJ sets. Time Out singles out the pisco sour programme as "executed properly, not the diluted versions found at tourist-facing venues", and drinking one on a fake lawn 33 floors over Nana is a gloriously odd way to start a big night. It works every time.
Climb to the top terrace for the cleanest skyline, order a ceviche and a pisco sour, then come down when the DJs start.
Nana · Floor 22
Dinner that turns into a night out, 22 floors above Nana: colour-shifting ceiling lights, pink neon, live musicians and dancers handing over to DJs as the Mediterranean plates are cleared. The lobster and the truffle pasta hold their own against the spectacle, which is more than most party rooftops can claim about their kitchens. Adults only after 8:30 PM, and the terrace runs to 1 AM — the earliest close on this list, so treat it as the dinner-and-dancing option rather than the all-nighter.
Book dinner first and keep your table — the show builds around you rather than moving somewhere else. Weekends need reserving.
