Our take
Bangkok's most committed piece of time travel: two floors of Hotel Muse dressed as a Prohibition den, where you can borrow pearls or a feathered headpiece at the door and order a cocktail that arrives in a fire extinguisher. The drinks take the theatre seriously — quirky & inventive — and the sunset over Langsuan is spectacular. It's a drink-first venue, the kitchen is the supporting act.
Insider tip
Come Thursday through Saturday for the live DJs. There is a hidden cigar lounge, but we haven't found it yet.
