Our take

A plant-fronted shophouse near Union Mall where the beer arrives near-frozen and live bands play across floors with different moods. Dishes hover around ฿100, the crowd is young and local, and the whole operation runs on the logic that a good night needs cold beer, loud songs and little else.

Insider tip

Each floor has its own personality — a quieter ground level for talking, separate bands upstairs, and a rooftop deck over the street — so scout the levels before settling in. It runs late, so treat it as the last stop of the night rather than the first.
