Bravo Rooftop Bar
Multi-Level Canalside Shophouse with Thai Craft Beer & Live Jazz
Our take
Somewhere in the old town, a shophouse turned itself into a stack of terraces above the canal — and the regulars would rather you didn't find out. Climb past the pub at street level, pick a layer, and settle in at treetop height. The Thai craft beer is the real surprise: a broad, fresh, properly cold selection in a district where a cold Chang usually counts as choice. Cheap, generous, and authentic.
Insider tip
It's cash-only, so hit an ATM on the way, and aim for golden hour on the highest deck — the breeze and the light both peak before the evening crowd climbs up. On live-jazz weekends the good seats go fast; message ahead if you're coming as a group.
