Our take

This is where Bangkok actually drinks on a Friday: a tenth-floor deck above a Chan Road community mall where the crowd is Thai, the bands play Thai rock, and the Silom-Sathon skyline stacks up surprisingly unobstructed for the price of a local beer. Two zones split the mood — one for talking, one for the party — and the kitchen leans Isaan with just enough mac-and-cheese for the undecided. Come curious: the menus and the conversation run mostly in Thai, and that's rather the point.

Insider tip

It's a taxi-or-drive destination — no BTS in sensible walking range, though the mall's free parking solves it — and the deck fills late, so early arrivals take the best rails.
