Nowhere
Minimalist Staircase Illusions & High-Value Ekkamai
Our take
The concrete staircase looping to nowhere — an Escher homage by Bangkok architecture studio Stu/d/o — gives this Ekkamai deck its name and its best photograph. The reasons to stay are more practical: unobstructed sunsets over a low-rise stretch of the city, cocktails around ฿300, and a fusion kitchen that outperforms its price bracket — the watermelon salad and harissa pork ribs deserve the trip on their own.
Insider tip
Closed on Mondays. The floor-to-ceiling glass means an indoor table loses none of the sunset when the heat is on — but claim the staircase photo at twilight, before the dinner crowd arrives.
